AccommodationThe conference organisers have booked room quotas for the conference participants in the following three hotels. When reservation is done via the registration form the below mentioned prices are valid. Also the availability can be guaranteed for early bookings. Delegates are free to make their own accommodation arrangements but availability or prices cannot be guaranteed and is at delegate’s own risk.
Early reservation of accomodation is recommended since Helsinki is expected to be fully booked in June 2012.
Accommodation payment
The listed conference hotel prices are valid only when booking accommodation through the Confedent on-line registration form. To guarantee the reservation you will be requested to pay a deposit of one night in advance together with your registration fee. All additional nights are to be paid directly to the hotel upon departure. If you require accommodation before or after the actual Conference days, please contact the local ELS2012 secretariat at els2012@confedent.fi.

Scandic Grand Marina Hotel

Insurance and cancellation policy
Insurance:
The congress organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to congress participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the congress.
Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.
Cancellation:
All cancellations must be made in writing to els2012@confedent.fi
Cancellation of registration fees and accommodation:
Cancellation received prior to March 5 - Full refund (deduction of 50 € for the administration fee)
Cancellation received after March 5 - No refunds will be given (100 % payment to be made if fees not already paid at time of cancellation)
There will be no refund for no-shows The Congress organization does not take the responsibility of force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In that case, the ELS Presidential Council will decide upon refunding of paid congress fees.
